Trending twitter topics are all about Former Armed Forces Chief and Defense Secretary, which revolves into judgement, grieving and hopelessness. Inspite of this incident, twitter respondents with this trending topic suggests that the plunder scandal should continue even after Reyes' death.

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago was once reported to have said to former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff Angelo Reyes that he "should be the first one to be prosecuted” for plunder after revelations of military budget officer George Rebusa that Reyes received milllions every month when he was a military chief aside from a P50-million sendoff gift when he retired in 2002. The send off gift was also known as "pabaon", which is believed by Santiago clearly as corruption.

“This is clear corruption. The definition of corruption is very simple, it is the use of public funds for private interest.” according to Santiago.

A book entitled, "Gamemanship" by Trump was found beside his dead body.
